iPhone 3GS on its way to Malaysian shores

KUALA LUMPUR: Maxis Communications Bhd will be bringing Apple Inc’s iPhone 3GS to Malaysia later this month.

Maxis customers interested in registering for one can log on to www.maxis.com.my/iphone3gs for more information.

The 3GS looks the same as the iPhone 3G but sports a faster processor, longer battery life, an internal compass, a video camera and a photo camera with better resolution and auto-focus.

A 16-gigabyte version of the 3GS sells in the United States for US$199 and a 32-gigabyte version at US$299.
