二零零九年一月二十日 凌晨十二时四分 （槟城19日讯）在不久的将来，槟州人民可以像当年笑匠查理卓别灵电影剧情一样，在吃完饭后如果还感觉饥饿的话，连盘子也可以吃掉！ 所不同的是，连盘子也吃掉，在以前只是电影中搞笑的剧情而己，但在科技发达的今日，却已成为事实。 而这种可以吃掉的盘子，是以甘蔗或植物渣制造，是一种可分解（BIODEGRADABLE）的食物容器（包括饭盒及盘碗）。 抛弃后45天内溶解 除了可以吃掉外，上述可分解的食物容器一旦在使用被抛弃后，将在45天内溶解，并且成为一种自然的有机肥料，不过，如果没有被使用，这种容器在获得良好的保存下，在长达2年时间内仍可有效使用。 将生产这种以甘蔗或植物渣制造的食物容器的公司为绿色世界（GREENWORLD）有限公司，而这间公司将会在威省武吉米雅科学工业园设立一间工厂，为槟州朝向绿化掀开新的一页。 槟州首席部长林冠英是于今日上午在宣布该公司在槟州的投资时，如此指出。 为50人提供"饭碗" 他指出，绿色世界公司将在未来4年内投资大约1亿令吉，以及在开始阶段，该公司只为50人提供"饭碗"，然后逐渐将增加至为1千人提供"饭碗"。他披露，该公司的生产工厂将会在威省武吉米雅一块10英亩的土地上建立。 已接获欧美定单 绿色世界公司首席执行员拉玛尼斯透露，生产可分解容器产品是一个新的市场及一项新的科技，该公司将在今年第三或第四季开始大量生产，而至目前为止，该公司也已接获来自欧洲及美国的定单。 他说，在目标中，该公司于今年主要是为食品工业生产食物包装产品，明年则将生产医药及其它包装的产品。 他指出，在开始阶段，该公司可分解产品的售价将比保丽龙产品高出30至50％，不过于未来，该公司产品的与保丽产品的售价或可能将不相上下，让消费人拥有另一选择，尤其这是一种可协助保护环境的选择。 他透露，80％的该公司产品将是出口，只有20％在国内销售。 推行4大重点发展计划 林冠英强调，计划中，槟将推行4大重点发展计划，即知识经济发展计划、回教食品中心发展计划、最优秀专才发展计划及工业组合计划。他说，在知识发展计划下，将推动资讯通讯工艺的发展，使到全州都可上网，而回教食品中心发展计划则是建立一个回教食品工业园，最优秀专才计划将使到槟州拥有最优秀工程师、会计师，医生及甚至拥有最高素质的公司及环境。他指...
